The Yoga Church Retreat
We are so excited to announce that our next in person retreat is finally happening!
At the 2025 Yoga Church Retreat we’ll immerse ourselves in the awe inspiring beauty of the North Cascades National Park and Diablo Lake.
The Yoga Church Retreat is an invitation to step away from the responsibilities and activities of daily life and into an immersive 5 days of spiritual nourishment and community.
Through the practices of ritual, chanting, reflection, creativity, nature wandering, and rest, we’ll deepen our relationship with the Pancha Maha Bhutas (the five great elements).
We’ll practice remembering that we are Nature.
Whether you’re an active member of the community, or you’ve never been to an event before, please know you’re welcome to join us.
June 25-29, 2025 at the beautiful North Cascades Institute.

Traveling to the North Cascades Institute:
Getting to the North Cascades Learning Institute is a bit of a trek, but we invite you to approach it like a pilgrimage—an intentional journey into beauty and retreat!
The closest airports are SeaTac (a 3hr drive to the Institute) and Bellingham (a 2hr drive to the Institute). When the retreat gets closer, we’ll create a ride share document and those who are interested can coordinate some carpools.
Click here for more information about getting to the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center.
Retreat Cost
The retreat cost includes meals (Wednesday dinner – Sunday lunch), lodging (4 nights), and all programming.
Meals
Breakfast and dinner will be served buffet style in the dining room. We’ll pick up our sacked lunches, that we can eat anywhere, at breakfast time.
We’ll also have tea and snacks in our practice area.
Here are the Institute’s guidelines on accommodating dietary needs:
Our kitchen will accommodate vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free diets. Guests with more than two dietary restrictions or severe and/or life-threatening food allergies are encouraged to bring their own food as we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. We provide mini fridges and storage bins in the lodges for those who bring their own snacks or additional food items.
Lodging
We’ll be staying in one of the Institute’s European-style lodges, with bedrooms and shared bathrooms with private showers.
Bedrooms also include wireless internet, writing desks, and built-in wardrobes. Linens (pillow, sheets, blanket, and towels) are supplied.
Two of the lodges have a lounge area with sofas, chairs, fireplace, and a limited kitchenette.
While the rooms are all the same, you can choose between private or shared occupancy.

Retreats are a gift. They allow us to step away from daily life and immerse ourselves in nature and practice and community.
We’re looking forward to stepping into the sacred portal of retreat with you in June.
Much love,
Summer and Marci
